What Pet Types Do You Care For?

For Your Privileged Pets will care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, turtles, rats, bearded dragons and most exotics. If you have another type of pet, feel free to ask! Sorry, no snakes or spiders.

What Areas do you service?

We provide pet sitting, cat sitting, overnight pet care to our neighbors in Clearwater, Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Countryside, Eastlake Woodlands, Trinity, Westchase and select areas of Largo and Seminole. Bonded and Insured.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, everyone on our staff is bonded and insured by an A+ rated insurance company that specializes in insurance for the pet care professional.

Do you have references?

Absolutely! We will be happy to provide them to you when we meet you for our scheduled initial consultation.

Do you meet with me and my pets first?

Yes. We do need to meet with you and your pets before we can arrange service. We will schedule an initial consultation with you prior to your pet care visits.

What does the Initial Consultation entail?

We will come and meet with you and your pets, in the comfort of your home. We will go over all of your care instructions; the location of the pet food, leash, medication, litter box etc. We will also collect a key and payment at this time.

How do I become a client?

To get started, please fill out our new client inquiry form here >> Once we receive your inquiry, we will reach out to you and answer any questions you may have. We will also schedule a consultation with you.

What is your payment policy and methods?

For new clients, we require full payment at our scheduled initial consultation. For existing clients, a credit card on file is required. We charge all credit cards at the time our services are reserved. We will email a receipt to the email address we have on file. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards with a Visa/Mastercard logo.

What is Leashtime?

Leashtime is our client management system. We will send you a login to Leashtime and require that you sign our contract electronically and provide us with all of your pet information, etc. For insurance reasons, we must receive your signed contract "before" we can meet with you and your pets and enter your home

Will you care for my pet if he/she has shown aggression in the past?

No. We cannot provide care to any pet that has shown aggression, even if it was years ago. However, we can refer you to a respectable trainer who might be able to assist you.

Will the same person care for my pets each time?

Yes. Unlike some pet sitting services,  you will be assigned your primary pet sitter and that sitters backup. You will meet both of them at the initial consultation. At no time, will someone enter your home that you and your pets haven't met.

What is your backup plan?

At For Your Privileged Pets, we work in teams with a primary pet sitter and a backup sitter. In the event, your primary sitter is unavailable to do your visits ( becomes ill, family emergency, etc. ) the backup sitter would step in and care for your pets. You will have an opportunity to meet both pet sitters at your initial consultation. For new clients,
